yay!!
AUDITIONS ARE IN TWO DAYS!! I CAN'T EVEN HANDLE THE EXCITEMENT!!!!!! and then after that, we get two months of crazy happiness, and i'm so excited that i literally start bouncing whenever i think about it. ben, elizabeth, luke, and jesse can attest to that :) see you guys on saturday!! senioritus...
wow, i haven't updated in forever, that's quite sad. i've been ridiculously busy with school and theater stuff at my school, but now i have free time and i don't really know what to do with myself. i'm still in denial that i'm a senior, probably because, as exciting as it is, i'm afraid of leaving the place and the people i know to strike out on my own. so i'm trying to have a really good year. i can't wait till january and NCCT!! i will be complete once i'm with all of you again. and meredith comes home in five days!!! FIVE DAYS!!!! i'm so excited, because i miss her terribly as she is my sister and we need to see each other way more than we have in the last couple months. i go to connecticut with the amazing teen board this weekend, and it will be amazing because all of the people are amazing and theater is amazing so basically it's just a lot of amazingness. :) and i'm also just very very happy lately because my perosnal life is actually wonderful for a change and i'm always smiling now. and now i get to go make brownies, which would also make me smile but they're for a fundraiser so i don't even get to eat them myself. how sad is that? maybe i'll make two batches... you know you're a band geek when... You start to tap your foot to elevator music. You make music jokes in a class when there are no other band members in that class. You spend extra time in the band room and practice your scales faster and faster. You have pictures of John Phillip Sousa on your locker. Your band director is your contact person on your emergency card. You have a different band shirt for everyday of the week. You practice show step when walking around your house. You walk in step with your friends. All your friends and your friends' friends are band members. Your band uniforms doubles as a Halloween costume. The band room phone is like your pager. You tap your foot to the radio. Your favorite song is by someone who died 100 years ago. You wear your marching shoes to school. You keep a spare change of clothes in your band locker. You wear your marching gloves with your prom dress. You know what key N*Sync is singing in. You sing Roll over Beethoven as you walk to class. You eat lunch in the band room. You consider band as a sport. You have your parents video tape the shows so you can march with them in the off-season. You wear your concert attire to homecoming. You are friends with the incoming freshmen band members. Your reed budget is higher than your food budget. When you cut class, you go to the band room. You vow revenge on the music black market. You know all the cheerleaders cheers. You don't go home on the day of a football game. Your only social activity is Wednesday practice. Your idea of a recliner is a black music posture chair. When you graduate, you don't leave. Band directors house and band room are on speed dial. You're the only one who shows up for pep band. You don't take "double tonguing" as a dirty joke. You know "panache" is a feather. You conduct in the shower. You can tune a tenor sax. You shed tears during Hail Liberty. You sit in class and start to finger notes on your pencil. You double tongue in the halls. You get upset while driving because your windshield wipers aren't in time with the radio. In a turning lane, you notice that the blinkers are not synchronized. You can relate to the term, "One time in band camp..." You wear your concert attire, and look at yourself in the mirror and say, "I'm good looking. When you fight for a sports locker, and say "Band is too a sport!" along with the cheerleaders. Hello!
bonjour mes petites copains! wow, so i haven't updated this in forever. that's kind of sad... school started on tuesday. senior year is crazy already, and i've only had three days of it! i'm taking band, jazz band, humanities, french IV, food & nutrition (we get to make lots of yummy food, so i'm happy), AP statistics, AP modern european history, chorus, and i'm working as the lab aide for my chemistry teacher. it's a little insane. but senior year should be good. we have homecoming and the bonfire in a few weeks, which will be great. but then i have to start thinking about the whole college thing, and that's really scary. i think i'm in denial. i have so many friends who are leaving to go off to school, and it's really sad. mer was at my house the night before she left,and it was really depressing to know that she's going to far away. :( anyways, i'm going to maine today with amber, which will be amazing, because we always find ways to entertain ourselves. there's an amusement park right next to the campground, we can swim in the ocean, and if the weather is really crappy we're going shopping! yay! Tell six things about yourself and then tag six more people to do the same, no tag backs. 1)I am terrified of needles. Like, the kind that they use at hospitals, not the sewing kind. Freshman year in biology, we were finding out what our blood types were, and all they needed was like one drop of blood. but me, i take one look at the needle about to pierce the perfect smooth tip of my index finger, and *bam* the next thing i new i was waking up on the floor. yeah, that's my story... 2)Sometimes i feel like a terrible person. and it isn't because i am, i guess, but sometimes i try so hard to make everyone happy that i completely lose what my goals for myself are. so then i end up hurting someone else in an effort to save my own sanity, but i still feel guilty and awful. is that bad? 3)I am allergic to cherries. and the smell of scallops makes me sick. 4)When i was little, i thought that playdough was eatable...so i ate it 5) I am very conflicted in the area of the opposite sex at the moment. i don't want to hurt anyone, but i think i've made it pretty clear to a certain person that i don't want a relationship but they just don't get it. and then just when i thought i had a chance with the other one, he throws that away completely. gah, why does this always happen to me? it seems to be a cycle - things go really great for a while, then everything get complicated and messy, but know that eventually it will work out. story of my life 6) i worry about people. i always my friends to be the best that they can be and to never have any problems, but unfortunately life isn't like that. and then i try to fix the problems, but i get so caught up within the problem that it becomes my problem too, and then it gets complicated. i just want everyone to be happy. okay, i'm done now. and i guess i tag... dbrobinson (david), princess_shiva (jessica), dandy_dreamer (holly), benjym04 (ben), lulu2_8 (sadie), and pyro62591 (nate) woohoo Current Mood:  contemplative | | Friday, May 12th, 2006 | | 9:48 am |
la la laaaa!!!
so i'm sitting her in english class, bored out of my mind, and i decided that i would update since i haven't done that in forever. yay! Cinderella was last weekend at my school, and it went really really well. we don't usually fill the house (AKA the school gym, lol) for our shows, but this year we did twice!! it was so exciting. but now i'm really sad that the show is over, because i've basically gone over a year just doing show afer show after show, and now i'm in this lull and i'm not sure i like it :( i'm going to see Footloose tonight!! hopefully a bunch of NCCT people will come, because i miss everybody soooo much!! oh, and prom is tomorrow, so that's exciting. and i'm going to hanover prom next weekend, yippee!! okay, maybe i should actually write the paper that i'm supposed to be working on...:) tootles *hugs* Current Mood: cheerfulCurrent Music: all the other silly people in my class talking | | Monday, April 17th, 2006 | | 12:15 pm |

i'm home from All-State! i was home for less than 24 hours after i got back from France, and then i was off to Concord to sing my heart out for the next three days! it was so much fun. i shared a hotel room with three girls from Manchester West, they were really cool. our first night we ordered Chinese and watched Sex and the City, good times. the music was amazing - our first rehearsal sounded like some concerts i've done, it was kind of sad! lol. we had our concert today, and we sounded sooo good! we did two different latin pieces, three slower kind of romantic pieces, and a choral version of the poem "The Jabberwocky", by Lewis Carroll. it was great. i'm so glad to be home, just because i've basically spent two and a half weeks away. over the past couple of days, i was so ready for my own bed, my own shower, my own food....being home is nice :) love you all! hey everybody! i'm home! we got back at about 6:30 yesterday, after a 7 hour plane ride and about a 3 hour bus ride from boston. France was so amazing, i didn't want to come home!! if any of you ever get a chance to go there, take it, it is so worth it! today i leave for All-State, so my time at home is really short. i slept till 11 though, which was great; maybe now i won't be messed up with the time change. wish me luck!! miss you all!! I LEAVE FOR FRANCE IN 9 DAYS!!!! YAY!! i'm excited, but nervous at the same time. i've never flown before, and i'm afraid that i won't be able to communicate with anyone, and that would be very sad. i'll be gone two weeks - march 22 to april 5, so everyone should call my cell phone and leave messages for me to listen to when i get back! oh, and i get to turn 17 while i'm in paris, which is super cool. tonight i went to the adult board meeting for NCCT, and everyone was so nice and welcoming to me and ben. i already knew most of the people, but it was great to meet everyone else. i'm so excited for the cast party!!! it's going to be awesome, i can't wait to see everyone again. yay! that's all, love you all *hugs* Current Mood: chipperCurrent Music: Jack's Mannequin | | Wednesday, March 8th, 2006 | | 9:03 pm |

NCCT WITHDRAWAL!!!! GAHHHH! this is so not okay. as if it isn't depressing enough when the show ends, this year i was closer with a lot more seniors, which just makes it worse. luckily, i'll see some people on friday at the hanover show (lots of people should go!), and then sunday at the board meeting, and at the cast party next weekend. i can't wait to see everyone again!!!!
